OnQ Entertainment Centre (formerly known as SkyWorld Centre)
The iconic SkyWorld Centre on the corner of Queen Street and Aotea Square is set to undergo a large redevelopment and rebrand as OnQ Entertainment Centre. The development aims to be Auckland’s premier entertainment destination with cinemas, gaming, indoor activities and dining.

Externally, the entrances on both Queen Street and Bledisloe Lane will be opened up to become more accessible and inviting – with an expectation that the Bledisloe Lane entrance will become the busiest - being only 50m away from the Waihorotiu (Aotea) Station – once the City Rail Link is operating.

Internally, all the levels and common areas will be updated into contemporary and welcoming spaces to encourage more exploration and dwelling times, and large external LED screens are also proposed for the site.
