Promotional opportunities for city centre retailers

We have a number of promotional opportunities coming up for city centre retailers in the lead up to Christmas and through summer:

Black Friday is only a few weeks away on Friday 27 November. 

• Black Friday - Friday 27 November
  To support the businesses taking part, we’ll be promoting this key shopping event and the businesses that are participating, encouraging people to come into the city centre to shop with them. To help us put together our Black Friday content and retailer list, please fill in this quick survey with details of your sales, promotions or special offers by 5pm, Thursday 12 November.
• America’s Cup promotional items
  Bunting and other promotional items are on offer for retail and hospitality businesses to put on display in the new year. To join in with the excitement of the event - register your interest here.
• Christmas window competition – be part of bringing the Christmas cheer to the city centre
  Businesses of all sizes (and window dressing budgets!) are encouraged to enter to be in to win $10,000 in prizes. Head to hotcity.co.nz/xmas20 to register and for terms and conditions.
• Christmas campaign - your opening hours
  We’ll be launching our Christmas campaign at the end of November (with street decorations going up from early next week). Our content inspiring Aucklanders to do their seasonal shopping in the city centre will include late night shopping and Boxing Day hours. If you already know what your store hours will be in the lead up to Christmas, you can let us know here. We’ll send a reminder closer to the time, too!

  No registrations required for this one – but there are lots of events happening in the city centre in the next while. Check out some of the big events coming up here, including the Farmers Santa Parade on 29 November.
