Heart of the City finalist in SBN Awards

News story
Tuesday 25 Aug 2009
Heart of the City has been nominated as a finalist in this year's Northern Regional Sustainable Business Network (SBN) Awards.
Heart of the City are hugely honoured to be nominated for our efforts towards to sustainability in the not for profit category.
We may be in the early stages of our journey to be more sustainable in our business practices and we recognise that we are far from being as sustainable as we would like to be, but we view this nomination as an opportunity to be a role model to the businesses in the CBD which we represent.
Ideally if more businesses in the CBD could adopt sustainable business practices, in conjunction with Heart of the City's advocating for superior city infrastructure and transport then we could work towards developing a more sustainable economic environment and efficient world class city.
The SBN awards will be held on Thursday 3rd September at the Okahu Function Centre, Orakei. Tickets are $65 or $550 per party of 10.
We will keep you posted on the outcome. But if you would like to know more about SBN you can view their website here...
