A revised signage bylaw came into effect 1 October, following consultation earlier this year. Under this bylaw, Sandwich boards and portable signs are prohibited in the city centre. In addition the Public Nuisance and Safety Bylaw stipulates that building numbers need to be clearly obvious from the street. Read more here.
