BNZ Tower Crane will be dismantled this week.

News story
Tuesday 23 Jun 2009
As many of you are aware, the external section of the BNZ Tower – located at 80 Queen Street – is nearing completion. The good news is that the disruption associated with this construction is nearly over. The bad news is that, sections of Queen Street, Fort Street and Shortland Street are required to be closed for the crane to be dismantled.
The dismantling of the crane has been approved by the Auckland Regional Transport Authority and Auckland City Council. Heart of the City has met with the co-ordinator of this job and we are satisfied that every effort has been made to minimise any disruption, however, if you have any questions in regards to the closures, we ask that you contact the following:
Billie Steedman (Spectrum Traffic) - (09) 579 5713
NZ Police (Downtown Office) – (09) 353 3220
