Vacant Spaces Initiative: Arcadia in Queens Arcade

Arcadia - part of Art in the City was a collaboration between us, Queens Arcade and Artfull. Together, we worked to transform six vacant spaces into temporary art galleries that showcased 16 local artists for ten days.

The benefits of activating these spaces were evident. People flocked to Arcadia, with Queens Arcade more than doubling their normal Saturday patronage and great feedback from local businesses and artists.
