Auckland Anniversary Weekend Road Closures

The following road closures will be in place for the Auckland Anniversary Weekend event.
Road closure: A street parade, the Fiesta of Colour, will take place on Quay Street. This will involve a closure of Quay Street northern lanes from the Ferry Building to the entrance to the Eastern Viaduct car park on Sunday 31 January 2010 between 7:30pm - 8:30pm. Parade assembly will be on the footpath along Quay Street. The lane closure will be managed by Traffic Management NZ.
Additionally the following partial road closure and parking restrictions are asssociated with the Seafood Festival in the Western Viaduct (Tank Farm) area. Restrictions will be in place from midday Friday 29 January to 9pm Monday 1 February 2010 – Jellicoe Street eastbound lane from Daldy Street to Halsey Street and Halsey Street southbound lanes from Jellicoe Street to Madden Street will be closed from midday Friday 29 January to 9pm Monday 1 February. One way traffic flows will be maintained north bound on Halsey Street through to Jellicoe Street. This lane closure and parking restrictions will be managed by Action Traffic Control Ltd.
Parking: Eastern Viaduct car park to be closed from midnight Wednesday 27 January to 6pm Tuesday 02 February 2010. Organiser to liase with Viaduct Harbour Marine Village and Viaduct Harbour Holdings in regards to the re-location of berth holder car parks.
