Vector Electricity Network Upgrade Soon to Commence

Vector Electricity commence stage one of the two stage network upgrade along Auckland CBD's waterfront in the last week of October. The work will reinforce the power supply to the waterfront area, including the ports and Britomart and should be completed by mid February 2009.

Tammy Flavell of Vector Limited has stated that the work will be staggered along Lower Albert and Quay St, with the work on Fanshawe St being carried out after Christmas.

Vector Limited has ensured traffic management plans are in place to ensure minimal disruption during this time.
